Design For Domestic Violence

The spotlight is on and victims of domestic abuse are receiving the help and justice they deserve. The Shelter for Help in Emergency located in Charlottesville, VA has been a resource for women and children involved in domestic violence, and recently organized a design fundraiser. The first-ever “Charlottesville Design House” was completely made-over by central Virginia designers, vendors and sponsors. Because we believe in giving back to the community, we took part in the cause by lending our talents to redesign the 4,000 square-foot home’s closets. The house was open to the public to tour for $20 and all proceeds benefited the shelter. Below you will find the before and after of the closet we designed for the cause.
