Shoes in the refrigerator, sweaters in the oven, accessories in the cabinets? Using your kitchen as closet space sounds bizarre to us, but some New Yorkers live by it. The New York Post recently ran an article on people storing their clothes and shoes in kitchen appliances. The ‘kitchenistas’, as they were referred to in the article, ran out of space in their bedroom closets so they turned to the kitchen. Being sanitary isn’t a concern because none of them cook. Like many busy New Yorkers, they eat out and on the go. As it is quite interesting, we are not sure if kitchen closets are our thing. What do you think?
